Glamorous Even WHILE GIVING BIRTH!

She's the world's most elegant mom, so it was hardly surprising that the last thing Catherine Zeta-Jones demanded before giving birth to baby Carys was a full leg wax and an eyebrow shape.
"It was hilarious," says one of her closest companions, who revealed that a beautician visited Catherine's home shortly before she went to the hospital to bring her daughter into the world. "There she was about to bust and Catherine was worried about looking her best! She knows giving birth isn't the most glamorous thing a woman can do, but she wanted to feel as feminine as possible. It was so funny!
When she delievered her son, Dylan, two years ago, Welsh-born Catherine chose the famous Cedars Sinai hospital in LA, but this time she opted for the distinctly un-showbizzy Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NH - top keep the event as private as possible - before checking out just and hour after the birth.
Like Dylan, Carys was born naturally (at 4:50 a.m. on April 20) and Catherine's superstar husband, Michael Douglas, held her hand throughout the labor. Her proud parents, Pat and Dai, were also close by.
Although Catherine and Michael knew the sex of the baby before she was born, Michael shed tears of joy when he held his only daughter for the first time.
"You are my little princess," he told the adorable tot, who weighed in at 6lbs. 12 oz, "My darling little Carys Zeta."
Catherine's friend sats, "Michael was completely overcome. It was incredibly emotional for both him and Catherine. He just held Carys, calling her his lovely princess and crying. Catherine was crying, too. They were both completely overjoyed."
Caring for Dylan
Carys - which means 'beloved one' in Welsh - is, according to Catherine's friend, "absolutely tiny, but absolutely perfect. Michael is totally nuts about her. He's going to spoil her rotten."
But doting mother Catherine is making sure 2-year-old Dylan won't feel overshadowed by his baby sister. In the past few months, the 33-year-old actress has consulted a Los Angeles child care expert seeking advice on how to handle Dylan's feelings about the arrival of the new baby.
She was advised that Dylan should not see her holding Carys the first time he meets his new sister, and that the little boy should receive a present from the baby so he doesn't feel overlooked.
"Catherine is a brilliant mother, and she has an amazing bond with Dylan," her friend adds. "There was no way she was going to let him feel left out, and now he's been made to feel hugely proud of being a big brother."
As soon as she and baby Carys are fit to fly, Catherine is planning on visiting her beloved 86-year-old grandmother, Zeta, in Wales to show off the latest addition to the family.
"Catherine is the happiest woman in the world," says her friend. "Forget winning an Oscar for Chicago, holding her babies makes her the proudest creature on earth. She may be rich, famous, beautiful and in-demand, but her family always comes first, and they always will."
